This hike takes you further in the Clyburn Valley past the old gold mine on a trail decommissioned by the Park but still quite accessible. The erosion forces of the river are quite spectacular and never very far away as we follow the Clyburn Brook into the valley up to Slatey Point. There we will stop and have lunch before we start our return. This trail offers a true wilderness, hardwood valley experience and there is a great opportunity that we will see wildlife.
