Day 9 – Virtual Festival
Day 9 of the virtual festival has hikers doing High Lonesome Nature Reserve (ON), Hope Trail in Gatineau Park, White Point to Burnt Head Trail. The daily poll question today was – What brand of hiking boots do you wear ? 44.44% wear Merrell, 22.22% wear Scarpa, 22.22% other, 11.11% wear Vasque, and 11.11% wear Keen. Hike the Highlands Festival Society were very fortunate to be able to interview Ms. Abbie Barnes, Spend more Time in the Wild, UK. Ms.Barnes is well known Film Director, Blogger, Producer and Walker/Hiker. She has produced over 270 plus videos and has over 30,000 subscribers to her youtube channel. She has hike most of the long distance trails in UK & Republic of Ireland as well the National Trails in UK. Her interview is below.
