It’s a new year – full of possibilities, challenges, opportunities, achievements… and much more. Why not take a piece of paper and pen and write down the things you want to do in 2022? Despite living in a pandemic, restrictions are being lifted and things are improving.

Being outdoors has improved my physical & mental well being since the pandemic.  Since the new year has started, I seen a herd of deer, captured a photo of an otter eating a fish, saw a ruffed grouse, many bald eagles, american black ducks, and much more.  Nature has been kind to me in the first month & half in 2022.

Why not explore the outdoors near you – hike on trails that you haven’t done in awhile,  go camping, try a new activity – snowshoeing, kayaking, paddle board,  mountain biking. Participate in virtual challenges – Walk 1000 miles with Country Magazine (UK) ,    Conqueror Virtual Challenges, Pacer Virtual Challenges. Or participate in safe outdoor events like the Hike the Highlands Festival (Sept. 9-18, 2022). Walk a long distance trail – Island Walk (PEI) (700 km).
