Salmon Pool and Acadien Guided Hikes
The weather man and our own meterologist, Bill Danielson, gave us another great day for hiking. Today’s hikes included Salmon Pool and Acadien trails in Cape Breton National Park. Thirty plus hikers enjoyed ideal hiking conditions with another great day for photos. Daniel Aucoin, guide and sweeper, Jean- Francois Bisallion led Salmon Pool guided hike and Marieve Theriault, guide and Krista Chin, sweeper led the Acadien guided hike. Wally Hayes, provincial tourism photographer joined us for another great day of pictures. Tonight’s evening presentation at Cheticamp Outdoor Theatre was “Cats” by Nathalie Aresenault and attracted alot of hikers. Many thanks to Marieve Theriault for all her help this past two days.
Wednesday, Sept. 19, weather forecast from Environment Canada as of 8:02 pm. Sept.18 is Sunny with cloudy periods. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h in the afternoon. High 20. UV index 5 or moderate. Tomorrow`s (Wednesday, Sept. 19) guided hikes are Skyline and Fishing Cove. Both start at 10:00 am. Please be early to register so we can start on time. Fishing Cove hikers should be at least 30 minutes early so we can get drives to second parking lot completed.

I am please to announce I am back in action tomorrow and will be hiking Skyline. Hope to have lots of photos for you. I will be humble and say I needed a few days to rest. Two long hikes will do this to you, but I will be hiking daily as much as I can for rest of the week.
