Cape St. Lawrence Hike / Hike the Highlands Festival / Meat Cove Mountain
Meat Cove Welcome Centre was the venue for Day 3 hikes during Hike the Highlands Festival. Over 100 hikers enjoyed the three hikes – Cape St. Lawrence (photo below), Meat Cove Mountain ( photo above) and Little Grassy & Boardwalk. A popular hiking destination, Meat Cove did not disappoint. It is part of the proposed Seawall Trail, from Meat Cove to Polletts Cove along the coast. Thanks to Derrick MacLellan and volunteers from Meat Cove Cove Welcome Centre for being great hosts and lunch – Lobster Rolls.
