Spring is here now… I got my Spring & Summer Catalogue from Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) in the mail…I can dream now and develop my wish list for 2009… Lots of new products …872 to be exact… The new spring & summer catalogue is 130 pages long…
I was impressed with tents section, sleeping pads especially the new thermarest Neoair, Instruments – the new Garmin Oregon 300 GPS – touch screen, trekking poles, the bike section and hiking clothes – base, and mid layer.I am sure you will have your own needs and interests…
I have been a member of MEC co-op for over 20 years and enjoy their products – hiking, paddling and biking. You can join and become a member of their co-op for $5.00 lifetime membership. They have their catalogue online and have an e-mail monthly newsletter. They have an excellent website – four main categories – online shop, learn, connect and sustainablity as well the Big Wild website , and the 2009 MEC outdoor Video Contest – MEC Sweet Spots.
