Last week during my vacation, my wife and I enjoyed hiking the Middlehead Hiking Trail in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. One of the Park’s most popular hiking trails, Middlehead provided a number of great photo shots. Below are a just a few shots. We ran into a few showers on the way out but nothing serious. At the end of the trail you are able to see Ingonish Island, North Bay and Cape Smokey. We were fortunate to arrive and see Keltic Express Zodiac Adventures go by and the Avon Spirit 73′ foot schooner (Seavisions). Both Whalewatching cruises will be available during the Hike the Highlands Festival. My wife and I finished the hike with lunch at Ingonish Beach.
