Review of 2013 Adventures & Resolutions
My wish list always seems doable when I am planning at the start of the year but in the end it comes down to time and committment. I am happy to report, I completed 4 out 5 personal goals. The toughest one was the completing 5 million steps in the Walkabout program. Thanks to amazing amount of snow in December 2013, I did it with room to spare. It was looking bleak with 314,000 steps to do in 2 weeks before year end.
The other accomplishments were hiked 1) Snowdon Mountain, Wales tallest mountain at 3500 feet, b) hiked Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path – 128 miles over 10 days and 3) produced a number of photography books. The one that alluded me was to hike 1000 kms. Looks like that will be a new goal in 2014 especially that Hike Nova Scotia introduced the new 1000 km pin for the hiker distance award program.
